It's a MacBook Air Mid 2013 without any OS installed yet since I just changed the motherboard, but is suitable for installing Catalina. I then searched online and found out that you can use the terminal and see if the computer recognises the SSD by using the command: diskutil list MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 to 2018) Mac mini (Late 2012 to late-2018) iMac (Late 2012 to mid-2017) iMac Pro (all models) Mac Pro (Late 2013, plus mid-2010 and mid-2012 models with recommended. Now the machine starts but when I try to install, neither the macOS installer app nor Disk Utility seem to recognise it. I changed the motherboard of a MacBook Air A1465 because the previous one was faulty and the Mac didn't even start.
